06JUNE2010 060910MW06 WATERFORD,CT - A stone pergola is covered in Wisteria vines at Eolia Manision, Harkness Memorial State Park. The grounds and mansion were owned by Edward Stephen and Mary Harkness who were childless, extremely wealthy and exceptionally philanthropic. The location will celebrate the 7th Annual CT Historic Gardens Day June 27th but is always a great destination any time to enjoy gardens, beach and architecture.
